Below is an overview of each of the 22 training programs approved by the Oregon Health Authority as of November 2023 (in alphabetical order).

These programs vary in mode of study (online, hybrid and in-person), length/hours of study, price, admission requirements, cohort size, and ethos. We recommend further research into specific programs you feel are right for you by visiting their website directly.

Core curriculum: 160 hr; in-person weekend immersions (Berkeley, CA) + online synchronous and asynchronous

Practicum: 40 hr

Duration: 200 hr/9 mo

From their site: "Principles of inclusion, reciprocity, and respect for all beings guide the BCSP Certificate Program. In general, trainees should be certified or licensed in their fields and demonstrate a minimum of five years of direct spiritual, mental, or behavioral healthcare experience."

Core curriculum: 150 hr; 7 weekends total with two options: hybrid or online only. Hybrid in-person and online (in-person options for San Francisco, CA and Boston, MA) or online only (virtually held concurrently with the in-person sessions)
